Well everyone, it's been a while since I have given an update on my flock. My lambs are huge! My biggest are probably close to 110lbs. I recently purchased a new ram lamb at the Northeast Youth Sheep Show auction. He is from Anchorage Farm and he is very handsome! Addison County Fair and Field Days is coming up and I am planning on bringing six animals. This ram cannot go to the fair because he did not have rabies in time. He will go to Champlain Valley and Eastern States hopefully though.We weaned the lambs almost two months ago now so our ewes are at our wonderful neighbors next door using their pasture at the moment. They will be coming back soon though, for I have to begin preparing for Addison. All my lambs are fairly healthy with the occasional laps here and there. I am very much looking forward to the upcoming show season and will give more updates as they come!
